Energizing Snack? Try These Cherry Almond Bites

Each week, I always like to prep a “clean snack” to get me through long days and low energy. Dried cherry and almond is one of my favorite fruit and nut combinations,  so I create these cherry almond energy bites. I think they taste like bite-sized cherry pie. Who doesn’t want to try that? They’re gluten free, oil free, refined sugar free, dairy free, and packed with protein and naturally occurring sugars. These will stop any hanger before it starts.

Super simple, this recipe comes together in under 30 minutes and contains only five ingredients!

This recipe is very versatile, too. If you don’t have dried cherries on hand or aren’t a cherry lover, feel free to swap out another dried fruit of choice. If you have a nut allergy or don’t like almonds, substitute sunflower seeds or pepitas to keep the energy bites nut-free. If you don’t have hemp hearts on hand, substitute chia seeds or omit entirely.

Enjoy these bites as pre/post-workout fuel, breakfast, snack, dessert, and anything and everything between.
