I usually do a good job of keeping my meals interesting, but sometimes my snacks get a little boring. These wraps are great to have for a midmorning or afternoon pick-me-up and are so convenient for mobile snacking. All you need to do is throw all of the ingredients onto a swiss chard leaf, wrap it, and enjoy. I love swiss chard because the leaves are study enough to hold plenty of toppings, and tender enough to bite into easily. Not the mention they’re absolutely gorgeous. I topped mine with pomegranate seeds and hemp hearts, but some other ideas are chia seeds, chopped nuts, or honey. I hope you love this fun idea to switch up your daily snack routine!
- 2 TBS nut butter
- Swiss chard leaves, rinsed, with hard center stem trimmed
- 1 banana handful of basil
- Hemp hearts, pomegranate seeds, more peanut butter
- Spread nut butter onto the collard wrap, then add banana, basil, and optional hemp hearts and pomegrante seeds.
